Oukitel is releasing another phone with a massive battery
Chinese phone manufacturer Oukitel is planning to
release a new phone in June that’ll only be recognized for its insanely
large battery. The K10000 Pro follows its predecessor, the K10000, which
was released in 2015 and featured the same crazy 10,000mAh battery. The
battery supposedly only takes about three and a half hours to fully
charge, according to Oukitel, because of flash charge technology that’s
kept in its 12V/2A charger.
The Pro will also have some spec improvements over its
predecessor. It’ll include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a MediaTek
octa-core 1.5Ghz processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
For now, we don’t know what version of Android it’ll run,
how much the phone will cost, or if the Pro version will keep the same
cameras and gesture controls as the original. Here’s to hoping it
doesn’t run Android Lollipop when it ships, like the first iteration,
because that’s just sad for a phone that’s being released in 2017.
Although we don’t have these crucial details, the company did say that
the phone’s slogan is “be the king,” which is slightly questionable.
