Facebook’s video app is out on Apple TV

After launching on Samsung’s Smart TVs earlier this week, Facebook’s new dedicated video app is now available on the Apple TV. The app allows easy access to Facebook videos on the Apple TV, and will recommend content shared by friends and based on pages you already like on the social networking site.

Additionally, the app will serve as a central hub for Facebook Live streaming, similar to Twitter’s smart TV application, which will make it easier for viewers to consume live-streamed content on the big screen. 

Facebook Video is available now on the App Store for all fourth-generation Apple TVs.
